Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will be working with developers in the testing phase ensuring the quality of code, volume testing, script testing as well as testing designed specifically for new software.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities

Be able to generate regression testing scripts and analyze results to ensure rule correctness.
Solve real-time issues within the production environment.
Develop and run queries in 𝗦𝗤𝗟 to satisfy ad hoc data needs by business users.
Work with developers in the testing phase ensuring the quality of code; volume testing, script testing as well as testing designed specifically for new software.
Act as a liaison between various business units and developers delivering new software.
Provide solutions using supported software, and make enhancement recommendations.
Validate supporting information using UNIX and SQL.
Write technical specifications for complex business needs.

Targeted Qualifications

Fluency level of 𝗖𝟮 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵.
Min of 𝟱+ 𝘁𝗼 𝟳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 experience in the same or similar role is mandatory.
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Knowledge of 𝗦𝗤𝗟 (preferably Oracle) is essential.
Ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines.
Business analysis experience in an investment banking environment is needed.
Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in the related field is essential.
Experience with office applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to travel on occasion.
Experience in compliance operations is preferred.
Experience with Bloomberg is preferred.
