Job Description

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for the development of leads and prospects. Together with the team, your primary goal is to create incremental business opportunities and grow your territory at a scale where everyone gets a tremendous benefit.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
  • Focusing on the validation and development of inbound leads and outbound prospects.
  • Developing leads from marketing campaigns & meeting sales targets.
  • Accommodating the client’s needs and adjusting the offered services according to their business expansions and future plans.
  • Focusing on building a long-term business relationship with your customers.
  • Handing over the finalized opportunity “with full details gathered” to the Account Executive/ direct manager to close the deal.
  • Ensuring the delivery of market insights and gathered details to the sales team.
  • Conducting cold calls, emails, infused leads, and strategic marketing initiatives.

 

Targeted Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as sales rep./BDR/ or similar role 𝟭 – 𝟯 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 or more.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝟮 + 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗕𝟮/𝗖𝟭
  • 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 and driven to make a difference.
  • Excellent 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 and presentation skills.
  • Be resilient, have 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 and 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿.
  • Be a good 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿 and don’t take no for an answer the first time.
  • Good 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 skills and commercial awareness.
  • Personable, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲.
