The Hardware Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of RMA processing including documentation, delivery, timely return and recording in internal systems; and will also work closely with the Hardware Logistics Manager on the rework processes.
Essential Functions
The successful candidate should be able to build positive relations with both internal/external customers to ensure smooth export of Forcepoint product.
Ensure all shipments are ship confirmed successfully through the correct process/procedures.
Work with services, customers and product management in the successful rework, re-provisioning and other related processes for C200 hot sparing and replacements.
Ensure correct preparation of all necessary shipping and customs documentation through chosen integrators and in-house systems.
Advise and schedule timely collections with carriers where necessary.
Provide good departmental support for any specific tasks, queries or concerns.
Assist in the analysis of and problem solving for any business and operational issues. They will also be expected to track and assist with the resolution of these issues including escalation if necessary.
Prepare and present where necessary written reports, work instructions and flows relating to the team’s daily duties/processes.
Provide a consistent performance and positive focus on completion of each of quarter, working within a busy office environment and understanding the need for good time management and schedule.
Provide support to ongoing high level projects in which the Distribution department are involved.
Education, Experience, and Skills
Education: 3rd level qualification or equivalent
Proficiency in Salesforce and MS Office Suite (especially MS Excel) required
Experience in logistics or distribution within a manufacturing or similar US MNC environment would be beneficial but not essential
Knowledge of import/export, shipping and freight procedures for EMEA, APAC, CALA is also beneficial but not essential
