Job Description

As the Head of International Payroll, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple payroll workstreams while ensuring the timely preparation, processing, maintenance, and appropriate distribution of payroll information and reports.

 

 

 

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of reports and presentations on payroll matters for senior management.
  • Direct and audit payroll procedures globally and ensure compliance with organizational and local procedures.
  • Ensures payroll processes are administered in compliance with requirements, internal company policies, and applicable country regulations.
  • Lead all payroll-related year-end audits and ad-hoc requests related to financial or tax audits.
  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Manage end-to-end global payroll operations.
  • Handle queries and address issues relating to expenses, overtime, general payroll etc.
  • Support our global expansion initiatives in project management of global payroll systems and service implementations.
  • Work closely with IT to implement new payroll processes and automation, including beta testing. Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
  • Oversee multiple payroll workstreams and ensure the timely preparation, processing, maintenance, and appropriate distribution of payroll information and reports.
  • Extensive interaction with employees and senior management on payroll matters.
  • Ensures all payments are implemented correctly and efficiently.
  • Budgeting in accordance with the annual strategic plan, and close liaison with Finance to ensure accurate estimation of future payroll costs.

 

 

 

Targeted Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in ๐—ฅ๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ป & English โ€“ ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ถ๐—บ๐˜‚๐—บ ๐—–๐Ÿญ ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—ผ๐—ฟ ๐—ต๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent work experience- Accounting and Finance, or any other relevant field.
  • Experience in selecting, managing, and liaising with external payroll service providers around the globe.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Min 7 years of experience as a Payroll Manager, Head of Payroll or relevant position.
  • Knowledge of leading payroll across multiple geographical locations with different requirements.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with payroll software.
  • Ability to understand and manage the payroll process of different entities and locations across the globe.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of 1C is a must, additional systems will be considered a plus.
