Human Resources Coordinator

At our Corporate Office in Amsterdam we are looking to recruit an Human Resources Coordinator to initially support the HR department during the maternity leave of the Human Resources Support Manager. The appointment will be on a 1 year contract basis.

The main objective of the role is to support the Corporate HR department with the coordination and administration of different tasks, such as supporting with recruitment & selection of candidates for our Corporate Office, keeping team member files up to date, reviewing HR policies and procedures, and taking care of an inspirational starter and leaver process for all Corporate Office team members.

Department:
Our Corporate HR department consists of a Senior HR Business Partner, a Resourcing Manager, an Organisational & Talent Development Manager and a HR Support Manager. The department actively focuses on 6 key areas: Learning & Development, Recruitment & Selection, Compensations & Benefits, Employee Relations & Culture, Policies & Procedures and HR Management. The HR Coordinator will support all these areas with different tasks and responsibilities.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
As an Human Resources Coordinator your main tasks and responsibilities include:

Be an ambassador of the HR department in a professional manner at all time, maintaining discretion and confidentiality

Oversees and administrates all Corporate Office Amsterdam employee files, such as employee contracts, confirmation letters and performance review documents

Assists in the Recruitment & Selection of the team members of the Corporate Office, together with the respective Head of Support functions

Aligns and communicates all recruitment messages on the different Recruitment Channels

Fosters and maintains relationships with outside organizations and people to assist the HR Support Manager in providing a pool of qualified candidates

Assists in developing and updates HR and L&D materials according to the internal HR branding standards of PPHE Hotel Group and its consumer brands

Assists in creating and revising of the policies & procedures of the Human Resources Manual

Being responsible for an inspirational starter and leaver process of all Team Members of the Corporate Office Amsterdam

Plans and organizes all Corporate HR team meetings: prepare the agenda, take minutes and follow up by writing and distributing to the HR colleagues accordingly

Uploads HR & L&D related information on the you: niverse (internal intranet) working in collaboration with the Intranet team

Assists the HR Support Manager with the execution of social policies & procedures for the Corporate Office Amsterdam and the hotels in the Netherlands

Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conductive to maximum team members moral, productivity and efficiency

Conducts other tasks/projects as required in different HR key areas as Compensations & Benefits / Employee Relations & Culture / Recruitment & Selection / Policies & Procedures

Bachelor degree in Hospitality or an Human Resources related field

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch

Highly organized and efficient individual

Flexible and hands-on mentality

A positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional service

Ability to work with senior team members both locally and globally

Desirable skills and experience

Knowledge of hotel operations

Knowledge of HR practices and principles in 4 and/or 5 star hospitality
