For our Corporate Coverage team we are looking for an Amsterdam-based
MNC Relationship Manager
The Position:
A Multinational Coverage Relationship Manager is the key-representative of BNP PARIBAS towards the customer group defined as Multinational Coverage Relationships. The MNC RM acts immediately on instruction or introduction of the PRM (Pilot Relationship Manager). The MNC RM identifies the needs of the customer(s) and translates those into opportunities for BNP PARIBAS as a group. The MNC RM is responsible to implement BNP PARIBAS group policy on its client portfolio and be aware of and act on any change of risk profile within the market(s) and/or client portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
Analyze client financial structure, identify needs, propose client strategy and objectives for a portfolio of MNC clients; act as primary client entry point for any client need and maintain client relationship at adequate level.
Coordinate and communicate with the Pilot RMs of his clients and implement the strategy defined for the client with the Pilot Relationship Manager such as to achieve his commercial objectives
Originate CIB products (as well as other Group products) according to the client’s needs to increase revenues and cross sell for his clients
Ensure the active monitoring and reporting of corporate risks on his portfolio (anticipation of risk deterioration, quality of analysis and accuracy of information) – perform all credit reviews.
Ensure the updating of Client First (call reports, status of opportunities, pipeline management) and make sure that customer data quality, yearly risk profile are up to date
Ensure that compliance rules (know your customer) and all BNPP regulations for client intake and client servicing are observed, as well as any local country regulations with respect to his client portfolio
Prepare and share Client Action Plan on most important clients or at request of Pilot RMs
The requirements
Master Degree Business Economics/ Marketing/Organizations/Corporate Law
Commercial experience,
experience with credit products and other CIB products in a banking environment
Technical Skills/knowledge and general competences
Basic knowledge of multi banking products
Basic knowledge on general economic business principles and processes
Fluent in English and Dutch
Job related competencies:
Ability to identify and develop local business opportunities
Ability to cooperate with Pilot RM and international network
Capacity to listen and understand local client need
Sense of responsiveness and quality of service
