Post-doc in Finance

  • F2-110019 (pending budgetary approval)
  • Initial 3 year fixed-term contract, extendable 2 years after positive midterm evaluation

Your Role
The teaching load is one course per year and allows for considerable focus on research activities.


The Luxembourg School of Finance (LSF) is the finance research unit of the University of Luxembourg. The University of Luxembourg, a public university funded by the Luxembourg government, has a strong research focus. Our core objective is to be an academic leader in the creation and dissemination of an integrated body of knowledge in banking and finance. The LSF emphasizes high quality research and aims to be a leading finance group within Europe.

Your Profile
Successful candidates are expected to have completed a PhD in Finance, Financial Economics, or Economics. The position is open with respect to the field. Applications from seasoned Assistant Professors are also welcome.

The successful candidate is expected to show considerable promise for excellence in research and to be a team player.
