Job Description
As Senior Customer Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting customers on technical requirements throughout their lifecycle within the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services scope of engagement.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
- Support customers on technical requirements throughout their lifecycle within the SAP Enterprise Cloud Services scope of engagement.
- Support critical customer situations in conjunction with Major Incident Management (MIM), SAP Enterprise Cloud Services Customer Office teams, and SAP Product Support.
- Support sales to delivery handover and customer onboarding to SAP Enterprise Cloud Services.
- Review account status and analyze if an account needs to be transitioned to another team.
- Ensure periodic service reviews to track the service quality across a range of customers.
- Support commercial change requests.
- Contribute to customer release and maintenance activities.
- Support customer satisfaction surveys.
- Facilitate service kick-off for customers.
- Stay involved in the accounts to ensure the success and integration of the customer.
- Contribute to the overall service/project delivery.
- Orchestrate the overall service/project delivery according to the planned scope, budget, and milestones.
- Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the liaison with different SAP stakeholders, esp. Virtual customer success partner involved in the accounts.
- Systematic and faster onboarding of associates: mandatory training documentation.
- Enable continuous delta KTs on new topics and refresher sessions.
- Execute technical feasibility studies/solution reviews (if applicable).
- Contribute to onboarding/transition SAP Enterprise Cloud Services.
- Review SLA service credit cases.
- Support in reviewing account status and analyze if the account needs to be transitioned to another team.
- Support de-escalations of critical customer situations.

Targeted Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗸 – 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝟭 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 – 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗖𝟭 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿.
- Results-driven and self-organized with great decision-making skills.
- Hands-on experience with 𝗦𝗔𝗣 Basis activities, 𝗦𝗔𝗣 release upgrades, and infrastructure updates for cloud customers.
- 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗲 with a minimum of 𝟮 𝘁𝗼 𝟳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 work experience in a customer-facing role and SAP Basis. (consulting, IT services,.. etc.).
- 𝟰+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 experience with multi-national software/IT organizations.
- 𝟮+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of SAP Basis 𝗦/𝟰𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗔 knowledge, hands-on experience required in 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗔 database.
- 𝟮+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 (e.g. through Solution Management, Consulting and/or Delivery Program management)
- Strong knowledge of IT Service Management, 𝗦𝗔𝗣 Basis, and 𝗦𝗔𝗣 Application.
- 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 and IT technical infrastructure know-how “𝗔𝗪𝗦, 𝗔𝘇𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗖𝗣” is needed.
- Technical and application expertise for different cloud solutions (min. 𝗛𝗘𝗖 & 𝗦/𝟰𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗔).
- Experience in working with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams/individuals.
- Experience in 𝗦𝗔𝗣 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 & 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗢𝗦/𝗗𝗕) is mandatory.
- Understanding of escalation handling and procedures.
- Excellent networking/relationship-building skills.
- Experience in working with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams/individuals.
- Excellent customer focus and communication skills.
- Understanding of escalation handling and procedures.
- Experience in 𝗦𝗮𝗮𝗦 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 (𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗮, 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲, 𝗖𝟰𝗦 𝗲𝘁𝗰.) integration with SAP Landscape is a plus.
- Knowledge of Project Management Fundamentals, ITIL, and Lean Fundamentals is considered a plus.
