Talent and Organization Development Manager

Goods transport by train will become increasingly more important in the future. It is far less detrimental to the environment and mobility than road transport. Furthermore, it is often safer and more efficient.

Lineas is one of the largest European private enterprises in the area of goods transport by rail.

Why are we looking for Talent and organization development Manager ?

The Human Resources department is key in levering the growth strategy of Lineas by enabling its human capital and becoming a true business partner in all HR related matters.

In order to reinforce the HR team and reporting to the HR Director, the Talent and Organization Manager will design and deliver the overall Talent and Leadership Development interventions that support the execution of business strategies and enhance business performance at both headquarters and regional levels.

What you will have to do

Work with the business to develop the design and architecture of the organization. Advise on business specific OD interventions e.g. organization restructures, Change Management, Performance Management, After Action Reviews. Understand and develop the health of the organization and the culture.

Develop, maintain and delivering key Talent programs and support the overall development of capability across the organization.

Responsible for creating and maintaining a Learning Plan for Lineas. Develop and maintain key management & personal development programs. Develop and maintain the key professional “Academies” such as Sales, Marketing and Finance

Work as part of the HR team as well as closely working alongside HR Business Partners (HR People Advisors) and contribute to strategic projects with other members of the HR team particularly where these impact Talent, Learning and Organization Development’s processes and systems.

Act as a trusted advisor to the business on strategic interventions based on the People Plan

What you must be able to do

A Master degree.

Typically 5 to 10 years relevant experience

Consulting background is a major plus

Experience with organizational design and development including change management, Talent management and succession interventions in international organisations, designing and implementing leadership capability reviews and development initiatives, performance management, and succession processes

A consultative leadership style that builds high-performing teams across multi-disciplined projects that consistently meet targets and realize organizational benefits

Solid project management skills

A strong and charismatic communicator with excellent influencing skills.

Pro-active, stress-resilient, pragmatic, result-oriented, flexible and a change leader.

Communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English, German is a plus.
