Job Description

As a VOIP Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing, administering, and supporting the Global Company network and VoIP infrastructure and Contact Center Solutions (3cx).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support and administration of 𝗖𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 and 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗣 technologies
• Responsible for leading and managing projects related to 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗼𝗜𝗣 solutions in the company locations.
• Management, administration, and support of 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗼𝗜𝗣 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 and Contact Center Solutions (𝟯𝗰𝘅) 
• Participate in VoIP project planning and project management responsibilities (including establishing priorities, specifications, and approaches, organizing, scheduling, and working with others)
• Responsible for daily administration and support of 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗣, 𝗟𝗔𝗡, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗔𝗡-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 devices and technologies within the Global scope of the organization.

Targeted Qualifications

• Fluency level of 𝗖𝟭 𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵.
• 𝗠𝗶𝗻 𝟯 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of experience in supporting network and VoIP technologies in a mid-size company.
• Experience in maintaining and writing documentation on networks (𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀, 𝗟𝟮 / 𝗟𝟯 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗜𝗣 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, etc.).
• Expertise in networking (Cisco) and with network emulators/simulators (𝗖𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼 𝗣𝗧, 𝗚𝗡𝗦𝟯, 𝗘𝗩𝗘 𝗡𝗚).
• Experience in organizing VPN-Mesh networks and working with 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀/𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗽𝗳𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲,𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀).
• Knowledge of the principles and practices used in the design of 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝘀, 𝗪𝗔𝗡𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗼𝗜𝗣 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀.
• Understanding the basics of 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆.
• Ability to configure and work with network equipment (𝗖𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼, 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮, 𝗨𝗯𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶).
• Knowledge and skills of methods of administration of active network equipment (𝗖𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼, 𝗨𝗯𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶, 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮, 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗿).
• Ability to configure and maintain VPN services (𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗩𝗣𝗡, 𝗜𝗣𝗦𝗲𝗰, 𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗰, 𝗪𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱).
• Knowledge and experience in the administration of operating systems of the Unix family (𝗟𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘅, 𝗕𝗦𝗗).
• Experience with dynamic routing protocols (𝗘𝗜𝗚𝗥𝗣, 𝗢𝗦𝗣𝗙, 𝗕𝗚𝗣).
• CISCO certificates (𝗖𝗖𝗡𝗔 / 𝗖𝗖𝗡𝗣, 𝗖𝗖𝗗𝗔) is considered an advantage.
• Understanding of incident management processes.
• Desire to learn, ability to quickly learn new approaches and technologies.
• Experience in the design, construction, and maintenance, of local networks and data centers (Network Design).
• Experience with configuration management systems and description of configurations for network devices (ansible).
• Knowledge of scripting programming languages and the ability to write scripts (bash, python, etc) is considered an advantage.
• Experience with cloud services (𝗔𝗪𝗦) is a plus.
